Este mes volvemos al viejo y buen hábito de descubrir bandas recién nacidas. La nueva incorporación viene de Quilmes, se llama Los Brazos Largos, y se presenta con una promesa, ya que 'Danza en Proa' no es más (ni menos) que un single adelantando su inminente LP debut. Conozcan a estos psicodélicos juglares modernos.

This time around we go back to the good old habit of discovering brand new bands. Our latest addition hails from Quilmes, it's called Los Brazos Largos, and comes with a promise, since 'Danza en Proa' is nothing more —and nothing less— than a single paving the way for their forthcoming first album. Meet these modern, psychedelic minstrels.

LO QUE VIENE / COMING SOON

Los últimos meses no fueron de inactividad, sino de actividad con carpusa, y pronto nos creerán cuando vean los resultados. Antes de que termine el año, les traeremos regresos triunfales de varios de nuestros artistas ya conocidos, como Diosque, Good Time for Dynacom, The Peronists y Monoambiente, y un par de bandas nuevas que todavía no pensamos nombrar para no avivar giles. Estén atentos así no se les escapa la tortuga.

Last few months weren't at all inactive —we were just lurking in the shadows. And you'll believe us soon enough when you see the results. Before the year ends, we'll bring you glorious comebacks by some of our favorite artists, such as Diosque, Good Time for Dynacom, The Peronists and Monoambiente, and a couple new bands we won't reveal yet, cause it'd spoil the fun. We'll keep you posted when the time comes, so stay alert.

Además de los regresos de algunos de nuestros artistas emblema, que planeamos para los próximos meses, tenemos claro que también hace falta sangre nueva. Por eso ahora les presentamos a Los Brazos Largos: cuatro locos de Quilmes que nos sorprenden con cada uno de los poquitos temas de 'Danza en Proa', y nos dejan ansiosos por escuchar el LP que prometen para antes de fin de año.

In spite of the comebacks by some of our most representative artists, scheduled for the next couple of months, we're fully aware that we also need some new blood. That is why we now introduce Los Brazos Largos —four nutjobs from Quilmes that surprise us with each one of the few songs featured in 'Danza en Proa', and leave us really excited about their upcoming LP, supposed to come out before the year ends.

Arrancamos el año con todo, con un proyecto ambicioso: 'El Árbol de la Vida', disco triple del siempre prolífico e hiperactivo cantautor platense Javi Punga. A lo largo de un camino de tres etapas ("el nacimiento, la celebración de la vida, y el regreso al cosmos"), Javi experimenta con distintos estilos de canción sin ataduras, como si de un juego se tratara.

This year we come up strong with an ambitious project: 'El Árbol de la Vida', a triple album by La Plata's prolific and hyperactive songwriter Javi Punga. Along a road of three stops —"birth, the celebration of life, and the return to cosmos"— Javi experiments with a wide range of song styles without any prejudice, as if he were playing.
