Bajo el seudónimo Los Jardines de Bruselas, Ezequiel de la Parra grabó caseramente su primer disco, Floating in Dreams, y lo autoeditó digitalmente en los primeros meses de 2011. Una colección de melodías nocturnas, intimistas y sensibles, pero también distorsionadas, atmosferizadas, que podríamos describir como dream folk. De ese trabajo les presentamos una versión deluxe con tres bonus tracks, que sirvió para despertar más interés y también más expectativa sobre su siguiente trabajo.

En 2012 ve la luz su segundo álbum, Light and Glow. Inspirándose nuevamente en sus sueños, Ezequiel volvió a grabar en su habitación, pero esta vez con mejor equipamiento y mayor atención al detalle. Luego las canciones viajaron a New York, donde fueron masterizadas por el experimentado ingeniero Paul Gold. El resultado es un conjunto de escenas cálidas y luminosas, que logran evocar la sensación del minuto justo antes de despertar de un sueño muy profundo.

Under the moniker Los Jardines de Bruselas, Ezequiel de la Parra recorded in his bedroom his first album, Floating in Dreams, and self-released it digitally during the first part of 2011. A collection of nocturnal melodies, intimate and sensitive, but also distorted and atmospherical that we could describe as dreamfolk. We present you a deluxe version of that record with three bonus tracks, that accomplished to gather further praise and generate expectations regarding its follow-up.

In 2012 we get to hear his second album, Light and Glow. Taking inspiration from his dreams again, Ezequiel repeated the recording process in his room, but this time with better equipment and more attention to the detail. And after that, the songs traveled to New York, where they were mastered by the experienced engineer Paul Gold. The result is a handful of warm and bright scenes, that manage to evoke the feel of that last minute just before you wake up from a very deep sleep.
